The Union Cabinet has greenlit the Rithala-Kundli metro corridor under Delhi Metro Phase-IV, with a ₹6,230 crore budget. Spanning 26.4 km with 21 elevated stations, the extension will connect Delhi to Haryana, improving access to areas like Rohini, Bawana, and Kundli. Expected to be completed in four years, this project will ease road congestion and boost connectivity in the National Capital Region. This expansion marks another step in Delhi Metro’s ongoing development, enhancing mobility and economic growth across key urban and suburban zones.
