JSW Neo Energy, a subsidiary of JSW Energy, secured a Letter of Award (LoA) from NTPC for developing a 400 MW solar project. This adds to NTPC’s competitive bidding for 1,500 MW solar projects. With this, JSW Energy’s total generation capacity rises to 19.6 GW, including 4.4 GW of solar. The company targets 10 GW operational capacity by FY 2025 and 20 GW by 2030, aiming for carbon neutrality by 2050. This strategic move strengthens JSW’s renewable energy portfolio.
