India’s top six companies saw a massive ₹2.03 lakh crore surge in market value, reflecting strong investor confidence. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and HDFC Bank led the rally, with TCS gaining ₹62,575 crore and HDFC adding ₹45,338 crore. Reliance Industries, Infosys, SBI, and ICICI Bank also posted solid growth. However, Bharti Airtel, ITC, and others experienced minor declines. Despite this, Reliance remains India’s most valuable firm. The gains align with broader market optimism as Sensex and Nifty rose over 2% during the week.
